Miranda K. works tirelessly to help youth in her community by providing free non-contact boxing and fitness lessons to Toronto students. These students are often referred to as “at risk” youth, but she sees these kids as so much more than that: young people with potential, talent, and skill.
Through fitness, Miranda motivates, inspires, and encourages them to dig deep and reach far. Many of her students have gone on to become leaders in the communities—coaches, professional athletes, scholarship recipients, and youth leaders.
She is much more than a boxing coach. With a good heart, an unmatched work ethic, and a genuine belief in people, she helps students discover their potential and teaches them valuable life skills based on her own life experiences.
“We all get knocked down, but it’s the ability to rise up and keep moving forward that leads us to true happiness.”
We couldn’t agree more.
